Paneer Paratha is a classic North Indian stuffed flatbread made with spiced cottage cheese filling. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, served with yogurt, pickles, or chutney.

🧂 Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • Water as needed
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Pinch of salt

For the Filling

  • 200g paneer (cottage cheese), crumbled
  • 1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: Mix flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually to form soft, smooth dough. Rest 15–20 minutes.
  2. Prepare Filling: Mix crumbled paneer with green chilies, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, and fresh coriander.
  3. Stuff Paratha: Roll small portion of dough into a circle, place filling in center, fold edges, and roll gently into a flatbread.
  4. Cook: Heat tawa or skillet. Cook paratha on medium flame, applying a little oil/ghee, until golden and crisp on both sides.
  5. Serve: Hot with yogurt, pickles, or chutney.
