🧂 Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 cup powdered sugar or jaggery (gur)
- 1/4 cup edible gum (gond), optional
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped cashews
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
🍳 Instructions
- Roast Flour: Heat ghee in a heavy pan. Add whole wheat flour and roast on low flame until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
- Add Gond (if using): In a separate pan, fry edible gum until it puffs up, then crush and add to roasted flour.
- Mix Dry Fruits: Add chopped almonds, cashews, raisins, and cardamom powder. Stir well.
- Sweeten: Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, then mix in powdered sugar or jaggery.
- Shape Pinnis: When warm, take small portions and shape into round balls. Allow to cool and set.
